Weekend Getaways
Seville
Seville (Sevilla) may be city of breathtaking fortresses and cathedrals, but
it is also home to several of the modern destinations. Tourists flock this
city to experience its mystery, especially during the summer season.
Seville's weather may be classified as warm-hot because of its long, dry and hot summers and even warm winters. They have annual average temperature of 18.2C and can go up as high as 26.6. In fact, it is known to be one of the hottest places in Europe, and it’s one of the coolest places to meet the hottest men and women. The beauty of irony, Seville represent.
Despite the weather, you cannot miss Seville for its magnificent tourists
spots. It boasts of the tallest tower in Spain, which is attached to its
cathedral. The La Giralda (Moorish Tower) is 319 feet high and is an ancient
minaret of the Islamic Mosque. They also boast of the Torre del Oro or Golden
Tower which is one of the last contributions from the Almohade period,
constructed at the end of the reign of the Taifa Kings. Up to today, there is
still a dispute over why it was called the Tower of Gold. However, people
generally say that it was because it is covered in golden tiles that
reflected the sun and also because it was the emblem of the port where all
the gold from the Americas was unloaded.
Come to Seville and be amazed with the Andalucian nature, fusion of architecture, culture, and contemporary spirit.
